Call for Manuscripts

Dear Researchers, Academicians, and Scholars,

It is our pleasure to announce the Call for Manuscripts for Volume 14 (2025) of the GMMC Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies, an annual peer-reviewed publication of the Research Management Cell (RMC), Gupteshwor Mahadev Multiple Campus (GMMC), Pokhara, Nepal. The journal aims to promote academic excellence by fostering interdisciplinary research and knowledge sharing across a broad range of disciplines. The GMMC Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies (2392-4519, Online ISSN-3021-9086) provides a platform for scholars, practitioners, and students to publish original and significant works that integrate concepts, methods, and theories from various academic domains. The journal welcomes contributions that explore cross-cutting issues, address emerging global and national challenges, and offer innovative insights into social, economic, educational, environmental, and technological fields.

We invite submissions of original research articles, review papers, and conceptual papers from scholars in diverse fields such as management, economics, education, social sciences, humanities, environmental studies, technology, and other allied disciplines. Papers that demonstrate interdisciplinary approaches, theoretical advancements, empirical findings, or policy implications are particularly encouraged.

Authors submitting paper should comply with the following guidelines:

  1. Submitted manuscripts should be written in English as far as practicable
  2. All submissions should be a single Microsoft Word file, with tables and figures (graphs) embedded there. Tables and figures must have captions and should be numbered with Arabic numerals. Please check that your text contains a reference to each table or figure. If your tables or figures are not compatible with portrait orientation in the text, each landscape orientated table or figure should be typed on a separate page at the end of the paper.
  3. A manuscript must have a minimum of 4,000 words, but should not exceed 7,000 with single line space in A4 size paper and written in Times New Roman 12-point font size.
  4. Papers should be consistent in style throughout, especially if different authors have contributed sections. All submissions are expected to contain scholarly citations, including layout formats of APA (7th edition) style. The following components should be included in all papers to be submitted for publication:
  • Title
  • Author's information (name, position, affiliation, address, email address)
  • Abstract (not more than 250 words)
  • Keywords (not more than five words or phrases)
  • Main headings (introduction, literature review, methods and materials, results and discussion, conclusion and implications)
  • Acknowledgements (Optional)
  • References
  1. All submissions must include a cover page that bears the title of the article, the author’s name and affiliation, and an abstract with keywords. The name of the author should not appear in any part of the text.
  2. All submissions will be assessed by two blindfold reviewers to determine whether the articles meet its criteria.
  3. The respective authors should take all ethical responsibility for the submitted and published articles; if submitted articles are found plagiarized, they will directly be rejected without review. The authors should also agree on the terms and conditions of the copyright authorization of the articles to the journal while submitting the final version of the articles.
  4. Submissions that deviate from the above guidelines will not be returned to the author(s) for correction but the author(s) will be informed about the status of the paper. Authors are requested to submit their manuscripts through the Online Journal System (OJS) available at https://gmmcjournal.edu.np . A cover letter mentioning the title of the paper, author details, and a declaration of originality should accompany the submission.

Accepted articles will be published open access and made freely available online through the journal’s website and the Nepal Journals Online (NepJOL) platform.
